About Dr. Hal

Education & Experience

  

Dr. Hal Brown received his animal chiropractic training in 2008-2009 at The Healing Oasis Wellness Center in Sturtevant, WI (www.healingoasis.edu). This program is approved the by American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA).  The  coursework consists of a minimum of 226 hours of training in  neuroanatomy, functional neurology, spinal anatomy, and hands-on therapeutic adjusting techniques. 

He is one of the first chiropractors in the state to get certified in treating animals.  

Dr. Hal received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2003 from  Northwestern Health Sciences University, in Bloomington, Minnesota.  He  currently operates a human chiropractic practice in Apple Valley,  Minnesota by the name of Back in the Game Chiropractic (www.backinthegamechiropractic.com) 

 
Previous to chiropractic training, Dr. Hal was a personal trainer and athletic trainer.  He also has prior certification  as an Emergency Medical Technician. 


He has gone on to receive extensive training in craniosacral therapy, osteopathic methods (Integrative Equine Therapies), PEMF therapy and Acuscope and Myopulse microcurrent therapies.  

Passion for treating animals

Dr. Hal truly loves treating and helping animals. They give us so much and deserve to feel the best.  The combination of education & experience with his passion for his profession gets fantastic results.
