Osteopathic Methods

Functional Indirect Technique

Very specific and gentle hands-on treatment that restores balance to muscles and joints by the following effects:

*Mobilizing restricted joints

* Restoring nomal muscle tone and resting length

* Releases and unwinds fascia

* Resets the brain balance- cerebellum and motor cortex

This reset is a deeper and more long lasting and way more gentle approach to restoring range of motion and stability than a quick and forceful and often times non specific techniques that other chiropractors use.

The Respiratory Diaphragm

From Tom Mayes (Integrated Equine Therapies)

"The Respiratory Diaphragm is without any doubt the most problematic and common dysfunction in equines...even the best clinician at equine craniosacral or chiropractic will e ineffective until the respiratory diaphragm is in balance...The diaphragm torsion complex creates a vast array of localized and systemic dysfunctions/lameness."

"I've never seen a stomach ulcer resolve unless the diaphragm has been cleared."

Dr. Hal has learned very effective techniques on releasing the diaphragm in horses.  It is very profound watching the horse unwind and the results can be truly amazing!
